Well done though to Focus Ireland in all their superb work. The homeless must continue to be supported and pressure must be kept up on the government.
I also encourage Focus Ireland to be involved with all humanitarian / left wing organisations. Especially through umbrella forums like the Irish Social Forum. We must all help one another.
... it seems I was right about Bono and that Debt and Development Coalition crowd. One of the tosser's speeches was read out on front of the Central Bank on Saturday. He apologised for not being able to be there.
Did you make it there on Saturday? Dissapointing indeed that he was not at it, though I cannot answer for his busy worldwide schedule.
"That Debt and Development Coalition crowd" - Are you cynical on them as well and think they should pack up their bags and return to some form of capitalist employment?
What about Focus Ireland - Do they too fall foul of your cynical radar! Is anyone safe! :)
... though I don't know much about this Focus Ireland crowd. Groups working with the homeless generally do a good job. Groups like the Debt and Development Coalition generally collect lots of pretty signature and present them to people who don't give a fuck.
Question remain what has focus Ireland done to acknowledge that it neglectfully allowed scheme workers to be bullied and intimidated and what it has done to offer these individuals a public appology.
Focus Ireland should look at home first before asking what any other body is neglecting to do.
