Shall his Epitaph Be Written?
A multimedia exhibition exploring the Legacy of Robert Emmet at the Screig Gallery, Fintown, Donegal. The exhibition opens on Sept. 20th, 2003 - the 200th anniversary of Robert Emmet's execution and runs until October 20th, 2003.

Shall his Epitaph Be Written?
A multimedia exhibition exploring the Legacy of Robert Emmet at the Screig Gallery, Fintown, Donegal. The exhibition opens on Sept. 20th, 2003 - the 200th anniversary of Robert Emmet's execution and runs until October 20th, 2003.
The exhibition consists of contemporary artworks and political ephemera inspired by Emmet and the 1803 Rising, including photographs and prison letters; unbroadcast filmed interviews; political posters, flyers & pamphlets; first editions of journals, prose & poetry from 1800 to the present.
The Opening will be accompanied by live music and song from the 1803 period. The exhibition will also be online.
Final Call for Submissions: To Commemorate the legacy of Robert Emmet the Screig Gallery invites submissions of new art works which are inspired by Emmet and the 1803 Rising.
The selected art works will be exhibited at the Screig Gallery alongside the archive material.

Robert Emmet Commemoration, Dublin September 20th.

Assemble: Garden of Remembrance: 1:30pm. March to St Catherines Church, Thomas Street.

Main Oration: Seán O Brádaigh

**Na Fianna will provide the main colour party.


(Republican) Sinn Féin Function in memory of Robert Emmet. Music provided by the Freewheelers.

Mother Redcaps (Near Christchurch). Doors open at 8:30pm. Taille: €7
