The palestinians are well known for their successive cries of "massacre" and "genocide". Why don't we do something about a real genocide that's occuring now, instead of listening to the Palestinians' lies?

Genocide in Sudan?
The situation in Sudan is a complicated and tragic one. A civil war rages on in Sudan over religion, ethnicity, and oil. It is a Crusade with total disregard for civilian life with moden weapons. However, this is not just a civil war. The Commitee on Conscience has issued a genocide warning in Sudan. Many argue that genocide has been and still is occuring there. It is not necassarily direct ethnic cleansing. 1.5 million people have died in Sudan and 4 million have been displaced as a result of the war in Sudan over the past seventeen years. That is more than the death toll Somalia and Bosnia combined. It's death toll is nearly double that of the genocide that occurded in Rwanda in 1994. Starvation is used as a weapon of mass destruction and death. Government allied militias enslave women and children. The government puts different ethnic grups against each other in order to kill themselves off. Clinics, hospitals, humanitarian releif sites, and places of worship are continuosly bombed. There is widespread persecution in Sudan due to ethnicity, religion, and race. Also, since 1999 the Sudanese governing militia has been earning millions of dollars from Western oil companies such as Tailsman Energy from oil exports. The oil is found in Central and Southern Sudan under the land in which Dinka and Nuer tribes reside. This is new means for genocide and ethnic cleansing according to The Commitee on Conscience. Since oil has become so important to the Sudanese government, there has been a dramatic increase in the displacement of people and an increase of attacks on civilians since

So, the situation in Sudan is bad, why isn't the UN doing anything but releif work in which they feed and retreat? As Scott Peterson said in his book "Me Against My Brother," "The UN for years has carried out an interminable releif effort, and though it may have suceeded in saving lives, it has also prolonged the war by feeding the combatants." He is absolutley right. And why hasn't President Omar Al-Bashir and his fellow fanatics and Muslim, radical fundamentalists received their punishment for the treatment of these people and his violation of international war crimes and Geneva? President Omar Al-Bashir harbored Osama Bin Laden in Sudan for years. He is a radical follower of Islam who has declared Jihad against Christans and those who practice tribal religions. His militia's fundamental and fanatic ways are the main killers in this war. I understand that the UN can't automatically just get involved. However, too many people have died and it has been going on for too long. There is just has not been a defining moment in this situation that has grabbed international attention like there was in Rwanda and Bosnia. It is time for the UN to take action. It is time for Omar Al-Bashir and his colleagues to be brought to justice and for Sudan to prosper like it has the potential to do. Forget about politics, bureauacray, money, and all the red tape for a second. People are dying. It may not have any thing to do with us, but could you imagine this happening to you? What if your child was starving and you could do nothing, your breasts have been cut off by your enemies, and you are dying yourself? What would you do? The people that are dead and dying in Sudan are not just a statistic. Maybe to understand, we must try to empathize, and think of it on a level of personal human tradgedy. Pressure needs to be put on politicians, thus putting pressure on the UN, to take action in Sudan. It is already too late. However, I am hoping with Northern Sudan's record of being and harboring terrorists will attract the world's attention in our war against terrorism.
