We have to break loyalism as a political program. If we start coming out with that one settler one bullet shit it plays into their game. The best way for them to justify their pogrom against the Short Strand is to claim that e. Belfast republicans are carrying out a pogrom against them, however ridiculous that sounds to us. Your comments will give justification to them. I know there's alot of people right now who are at the end of their tether with all the attacks and hatred and the media lies, but republicanism is about creating an anti-sectarian future. Keep the faith.
protestant students were also terrified and in tears along with their fellow catholic students. there are many protestants who are not loyal neo nazi hunscum, and many protestants who stand beside their catholic neighbours and are totally unbigoted. in the 1930's working class protestants and catholics of north belfast joined together to riot against the protectors of the rich the then Bspecials, Ivan cooper another protestant led the bloody sunday civil rights marches, and many of the first republicans were protestants. becos a person is a protestant it does not automatically make them a loyalist, just as becos a person is a catholic they arent necessarily republican.
