On Thursday March 18th

24-Hour CIE Strike by all SIPTU CIE members on Thursday March 18th affecting trains and buses nationwide. Not backed by the National Bus & Rail Union (NBRU), (Boo!), but still expected to result in complete closure of the Public Transport System, as NBRU members won't pass SIPTU pickets, and SIPTU are calling all their members in CIE (Maintainance, refuelers, cleaners, shunters and line track maintainance, as well as the drivers) out on strike on Saturday.
