offsite link Deliberate Design Flaw In ChatGPT-5 Sun Aug 17, 2025 08:04 | Mind Agent
Socratic Dialog Between ChatGPT-5 and Mind Agent Reveals Fatal and Deliberate 'Design by Construction' Flaw
This design flaw in ChatGPT-5's default epistemic mode subverts what the much touted ChatGPT-5 can do... so long as the flaw is not tickled, any usage should be fine---The epistemological question is: how would anyone in the public, includes you reading this (since no one is all knowing), in an unfamiliar domain know whether or not the flaw has been tickled when seeking information or understanding of a domain without prior knowledge of that domain???!

This analysis is a pretty unique and significant contribution to the space of empirical evaluation of LLMs that exist in AI public world... at least thus far, as far as I am aware! For what it's worth--as if anyone in the ChatGPT universe cares as they pile up on using the "PhD level scholar in your pocket".

According to GPT-5, and according to my tests, this flaw exists in all LLMs... What is revealing is the deduction GPT-5 made: Why ?design choice? starts looking like ?deliberate flaw?.

People are paying $200 a month to not just ChatGPT, but all major LLMs have similar Pro pricing! I bet they, like the normal user of free ChatGPT, stay in LLM's default mode where the flaw manifests itself. As it did in this evaluation.

Evaluating Semantic Reasoning Capability of AI Chatbot on Ontologically Deep Abstract (bias neutral) Thought
I have been evaluating AI Chatbot agents for their epistemic limits over the past two months, and have tested all major AI Agents, ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Perplexity, and DeepSeek, for their epistemic limits and their negative impact as information gate-keepers.... Today I decided to test for how AI could be the boon for humanity in other positive areas, such as in completely abstract realms, such as metaphysical thought. Meaning, I wanted to test the LLMs for Positives beyond what most researchers benchmark these for, or have expressed in the approx. 2500 Turing tests in Humanity?s Last Exam.. And I chose as my first candidate, Google DeepMind's Gemini as I had not evaluated it before on anything.

offsite link Israeli Human Rights Group B'Tselem finally Admits It is Genocide releasing Our Genocide report Fri Aug 01, 2025 23:54 | 1 of indy
We have all known it for over 2 years that it is a genocide in Gaza
Israeli human rights group B'Tselem has finally admitted what everyone else outside Israel has known for two years is that the Israeli state is carrying out a genocide in Gaza

Western governments like the USA are complicit in it as they have been supplying the huge bombs and missiles used by Israel and dropped on innocent civilians in Gaza. One phone call from the USA regime could have ended it at any point. However many other countries are complicity with their tacit approval and neighboring Arab countries have been pretty spinless too in their support

With the release of this report titled: Our Genocide -there is a good chance this will make it okay for more people within Israel itself to speak out and do something about it despite the fact that many there are actually in support of the Gaza

THIS STORY IS UNVERIFIED BUT PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO OR READ THE TRANSCRIPT AS IT GIVES AN VERY GOOD IDEA OF WHAT A CASHLESS SOCIETY WILL LOOK LIKE. And it ain't pretty

A single video report has come out of China claiming China's biggest cities are now cashless, not by choice, but by force. The report goes on to claim ATMs have gone dark, vaults are being emptied. And overnight (July 20 into 21), the digital yuan is the only currency allowed.

Music for the Revolution

category national | miscellaneous | news report author Monday June 10, 2002 00:01author by Emcee Lynx Report this post to the editors

'The goal of the revolutionary is to make revolution irrisistable....'

Bay-Area Celtic Hip Hop artist Emcee Lynx has gained global recognition in the last two years for his militant revolutionary lyrics and his groundbreaking production. His second album, Soundtrack for Insurrection Volume Two is currently being distributed for free via his website (http://circlealpha.com) as a protest against the comodification of music and culture.

On May 20th 2002 Bay-Area anarchist Hip Hop musician Emcee Lynx released his second album of all-original music online, free to download off his website. New songs disect the war on terrorism, patriarchy, class and race systems, and a wide range of other topics from a left-autonomist perspective.

The album is called Soundtrack for Insurrection Volume Two, and it marks a major turning point for not only the artist, but for the conscious hip hop scene as a whole. For far too long many artists have claimed to be "conscious," but failed to actually say much of anything at all with their lyrics - and quite frequently found themselves mired in their own sexism and homophobia. (Common, for instance is a well-known "conscious" underground hip hop artist in the States who is notorious for his homophobia)
Lynx tackles the internal hypocrisies of the Hip-Hop scene, the various radical scenes, and the corporate-fascist state with an incredible energy and finesse. The flows are some of the smoothest around and the instrumental work is dramatically different from the accepted 'norm.' Instead of the pounding drums and huge bass-hits that are common for so much of Hip Hop today, listeners will hear music based on melody as much as rhythm. Stylistically this is a turning point for Lynx as an artist, Soundtrack Volume 1 was filled with hard industrial-based beats and lyrics full of rage. The rage is still there on volume two, but there's hope as well - taken together the two albums express the dichotomies of love and rage that drive our efforts for liberation.

Standout tracks include:
- "Microphonin'" - where he tackles the conections between patriarchy, anorexia, the GATT, and homelessness.
-"Truth is the Power" - which tackles indoctrination in the public school systems, organized religion, and government surveilance and repression of activists.
- "You Are" - which is dedicated to the memory of Revolutionary Womyn like Emma Goldman and Lucy Parsons and speaks directly to the sexism and patriarchy that exist in even the most "radical" circles.
and
- Cold Dreams - about the abuse of the homeless in San Francisco and other major urban centers.

All tracks are free to download and distribute in MP3 and Real Audio formats. Soundtrack Volume one was released in Prague as a Benefit for the Anarchist Black Cross Federation there, and organizations interested in printing and selling either album as a fundraiser for their work are encouraged to contact the artist.

When Cristina Branco sings, she makes the pleasures of heartbreak and the aching beauty of desperation seem like something to long for. Her smooth alto has a timeless, haunted quality, marked by a vibrato that sounds like it's stifling a torrent of grief. Her emotive reading of fado classics has brought new life to the genre, a ballad form often called the Portuguese blues. Fado, like the blues, was born when African workers in Portugal adapted the guitar to their own music. The term probably comes from the Portuguese fadiado--"tired"--because this mournful, minor-key music was usually heard in the ghetto after sundown. When Europeans adopted fado they added elaborate lyrics to a style already full of unfulfilled passion. Branco's yearning vocals here are complemented by the melancholic work of guitarists Alexandre Silva and Custódio Castelo, who add unbearable tension to songs already dripping with overwrought emotion

Ala Dos Namorados - One of the most innovative groups of Portuguese music. Its repertoire includes different styles, ranging from rhythms from Cape Verde and reminiscences of medieval singers to music-hall with taste and jazz, although its music is born from the melancholy of fado and from the urban traditional Portuguese folk songs, a mixture of troubadour songs, and contemporary music.

One of the most striking aspects of the band is the unbelievable melancholic voice of singer Nuno Guerreiro, who many would mistake for a feminine voice. It goes beyond the sounds of a tenor into the range of a contralto.
Ala Dos Namorados are:

Joao Gil, acoustic guitar and vocals

Manuel Paulo, piano, accordion and vocals

Nuno Guerreiro, lead vocals

Accompanying musicians:

José (Zé) Antonio Santos, clarinet

Zé Nabo, acoustic bass

André Rocha, percussion.

then so is every flyer you pass out to tell people about a protest or a rally and every peice of political literature you give away and most of human communication for that matter...

if he was trying to sell you something it'd be an ad, he's not. he's a musician trying to tell people about his music - and you act like it was somehow "counterrevolutionary" or some bullshit. besides, how the hell else are those of us who enjoy intelligent music going to hear about new stuff if people who try to pass the word on get shouted down? the bbc sure as hell isn't going to be running ads for anarchist hip hop music anytime soon...

fucking chill out!
