On Saturday 19th June there was an Anti-Bush march in Newbridge, Co. Kildare. Some hundred people turned out to voice their opposition to the visit of the arch-warmonger to these shores.
The crowd set out from Moorefield Green (beside Tescos) at 1pm and marched down the Main Street to the Riverbank Arts centre where there was music and a couple of speeches.
The event was organised by the Kildare Anti-War Movement. To get in contact with us call Elaine on (045) 449675 or Gerry on (087) 2642887 - or visit our website at http://www.kildare.ie/peace.
