Schools and Youth Groups can register projects until Dec. 22nd

Eco-Unesco has extended the registration date of its annual Young Environmentalist Awards to Dec. 22nd. They are hoping to encourage schools and youth groups, not familiar with the awards, to register by Christmas.

The projects can be ones already being carried out in schools/youth centres, such as under CSPE or applied leaving cert. The projects need to be completed by the end of febrary 2005. All participants recieve certificates. More information can be found at their website: www.ecounesco.ie
