New Publication The Pringle Report issued to Cooley Environmental and Health Group in December 2003 has been published in print format. Cooley Environmental and Health Group has published (January 2005) a book entitled "Cancer Mortality and Morbidity in County Louth." Presumably this is another analysis to link the 1957 fire in the Windscale nuclear reactor,in England, to the high incidence of cancers in the Louth area,during the following decades.
As there was a westerly breeze blowing ,at windscale during the 3 days of the release of radioactive gases into the atmosphere,it was inevitable that cancers would arise in the general population ,in Ireland -specifically Louth-where rain brought the contaminants to earth,during the aftermath of this disaster.
