The link below is an interview I did following the recent mistrial of the Pit Stop Ploughshares. We return to trial Oct 24th. at the Four Courts. In the past week 200 Iraqis have been killed in the U.S. war, 15 US soldiers & 1 British soldier.

In the first 3 months of this year 90,000 U.S. troops transited through Shannon, roughly a 3fold increase on last year. I'm posting this interview which contains criticism of the Irish anti-war scene to initate a debate in the hope of revitalising opposition.

It may also raise questions about how much the agenda of the left in Ireland is set by mainstream media coverage?, how much ambulance chasing occured and then abandonment of the Iraqi people as the war grinds on?

There seems now to be more opposition to the war coming out of the military families in England & U.S. then the civilian peace movement in England, US & Ireland.

I would ask those interested to read the article (access the link below) and respond with criticism and debate and suggestions of how to resist significant on going Irish complicity in this invasion of Iraq.
