Dublin Shell to Sea will be mounting another picket on the Norwegian Embassy on Molesworth Street (opposite the Passport Office) on Monday lunchtime between 1 and 2.
This is to coincide with the Norwegian general election which is taking place this weekend.
The campaign to bring Shell to Sea and to lift the injunction on the Rossport 5 is being brought to the Norwegian people the following week.
A delegation from Rossport will hold a press conference hosted by the Norwegian section of Friends of the Earth, who have offered support for the campaign from the begining.
The situation where 5 people are put in prison for defending the health and safety of their communities wouldn't happen in Norway. Why are we letting it happen here?
Remember, the tax payer in Norway gets 36% of the gas revenues from the Corrib field. We get nothing.
