Mark is an experienced part of the Ploushares Movement - for international direct action against military. The Ploughshares Movement began in 1980, and it sprung from the Catholic Worker, an anarchist wing of the Church, a wing which lets actions speak louder than words.
Mark is of the New Haven Catholic Worker, in Connecticut USA, and in the interview, he gives a comprehensive and meaningful insight into the dynamic behind Ploushares and Catholic Worker.
The interview was given outside the Federal Courthouse in Binghamton where "the St. Patrick's Four" were on trial for their Ploughshares action in March 2003.

The next trial of Ploughshares takes place in Dublin, Ireland on October 24th, 2005. The Pitstop Ploughshares damaged a US navy plane at Shannon Airport in February 2003.
