Deliberate Design Flaw In ChatGPT-5 Sun Aug 17, 2025 08:04 | Mind Agent Socratic Dialog Between ChatGPT-5 and Mind Agent Reveals Fatal and Deliberate 'Design by Construction' Flaw
This design flaw in ChatGPT-5's default epistemic mode subverts what the much touted ChatGPT-5 can do... so long as the flaw is not tickled, any usage should be fine---The epistemological question is: how would anyone in the public, includes you reading this (since no one is all knowing), in an unfamiliar domain know whether or not the flaw has been tickled when seeking information or understanding of a domain without prior knowledge of that domain???!
This analysis is a pretty unique and significant contribution to the space of empirical evaluation of LLMs that exist in AI public world... at least thus far, as far as I am aware! For what it's worth--as if anyone in the ChatGPT universe cares as they pile up on using the "PhD level scholar in your pocket".
According to GPT-5, and according to my tests, this flaw exists in all LLMs... What is revealing is the deduction GPT-5 made: Why ?design choice? starts looking like ?deliberate flaw?.
People are paying $200 a month to not just ChatGPT, but all major LLMs have similar Pro pricing! I bet they, like the normal user of free ChatGPT, stay in LLM's default mode where the flaw manifests itself. As it did in this evaluation.
AI Reach: Gemini Reasoning Question of God Sat Aug 02, 2025 20:00 | Mind Agent Evaluating Semantic Reasoning Capability of AI Chatbot on Ontologically Deep Abstract (bias neutral) Thought
I have been evaluating AI Chatbot agents for their epistemic limits over the past two months, and have tested all major AI Agents, ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Perplexity, and DeepSeek, for their epistemic limits and their negative impact as information gate-keepers.... Today I decided to test for how AI could be the boon for humanity in other positive areas, such as in completely abstract realms, such as metaphysical thought. Meaning, I wanted to test the LLMs for Positives beyond what most researchers benchmark these for, or have expressed in the approx. 2500 Turing tests in Humanity?s Last Exam.. And I chose as my first candidate, Google DeepMind's Gemini as I had not evaluated it before on anything.
Israeli Human Rights Group B'Tselem finally Admits It is Genocide releasing Our Genocide report Fri Aug 01, 2025 23:54 | 1 of indy We have all known it for over 2 years that it is a genocide in Gaza
Israeli human rights group B'Tselem has finally admitted what everyone else outside Israel has known for two years is that the Israeli state is carrying out a genocide in Gaza
Western governments like the USA are complicit in it as they have been supplying the huge bombs and missiles used by Israel and dropped on innocent civilians in Gaza. One phone call from the USA regime could have ended it at any point. However many other countries are complicity with their tacit approval and neighboring Arab countries have been pretty spinless too in their support
With the release of this report titled: Our Genocide -there is a good chance this will make it okay for more people within Israel itself to speak out and do something about it despite the fact that many there are actually in support of the Gaza

ADI investigations reveal extent of suffering for the first time
A new hard-hitting campaign to stop the use of animals in circuses is being launched in Ireland today by Animal Defenders International (ADI) and Animal Rights Action Network (ARAN). The campaign report on Ireland’s circuses is based on undercover investigations by ADI Field Officers into seven circuses touring Ireland in 2000 and 2003. ADI Field Officers obtained employment with two Irish circuses, and observed many more. This is the fifth ADI ‘Stop Circus Suffering’ campaign following launches in UK, Chile, Norway and Portugal, and reveals that around 150 animals are touring Ireland with travelling circuses. These animals endure severe confinement in deprived and unnatural environments, inadequate diets and physical abuse.
Tim Phillips, campaigns director for ADI, announced: “ADI and ARAN hope that this will be the biggest ever push to end the use of animals in circuses in Ireland and we will be distributing DVDs, leaflets and a report that features the extent of circus suffering in Ireland for the first time.”
Examples of the violence used to control the animals were captured in the Irish launch video:
• a camel slapped in the face and then hit in the face with a broom and finally jabbed with a broom handle
• an elephant kicked in the leg and then punched in the face
• a hippo whipped to hurry it along when it was already walking in the desired direction
• a keeper whipping an elephant in order to get her to move
• a baby camel being roughly handled to force him to move
• a pregnant camel performing just days before giving birth.
John Carmody, campaigns coordinator for Irish group, ARAN, said: “This investigation has revealed animal suffering in Irish circuses on a large scale, which the circus industry has been desperate to hide. If children only knew how these poor animals are treated, they would be totally shocked. Local councils need to know this and we will be lobbying them to ban the use of animal act circuses.”
The long haul
When the Irish circuses moved town, the report reveals, animals were kept in their trailers for unnecessarily long periods – up to almost 10 times longer than a journey had actually taken. When Italy’s Il Florilegio Circus (Darix Togni) toured Ireland, elephants were kept in their transporter during one journey for 59 hours.
At Courtney’s Mexican Circus, animals were observed left in their transporters for up to 43 hours without free access to water, and with no exercise. This was also true for the six tigers with Tom Duffy’s Circus, whose cramped enclosure was just 3.7 metres by 7.3 metres.
Micki, the elephant with Fossetts Circus (who the circus boasts is the largest African elephant in Europe), was filmed and photographed in a tent chained by both front and hind leg and barely able to move.
Public safety
Poor standards of public safety (and indeed animal safety) were evident especially when a hippo at the Il Florilegio Circus (Darix Togni) started to wander towards a main road because an electric fence had not been erected. Luckily an ADI Field Officer alerted staff before the animal reached the road. In the past 20 months, Ireland’s media have highlighted several instances of animals getting loose or attacking people. The new report is also critical of circuses that allow people to come into close contact with potentially dangerous wild animals like elephants. Circus Vegas, The American 3-Ring Circus and Daredevil Circus all used their elephants during the show interval for photographs with the audience and Daredevil allowed very small children to sit on the Asian elephants.
Confined to quarters
The ADI / ARAN report and video highlight how the needs of animals cannot be met when travelling from one temporary encampment to another, and setting up on what limited space is available. The campaigners found a wide range of animals including horses, ponies, elephants, a rhino, a hippo, camels, and tigers living in confined and deprived environments, in small cages or tethered on short ropes. Some animals did not even have free access to water. For example, during observations of Circus Vegas in Galway, a donkey and a pony spent the day tied at the edge of the circus grounds without any shelter or water.
Disturbed, repetitive behaviour
Living in such bleak, unnatural conditions, it is little wonder that many of these animals go out of their minds. Frustrated, repetitive, stereotypic behaviour takes over. These pointless movements, with the animal no longer aware of its surroundings, are not witnessed in the wild, and are regarded by animal behaviourists as clear signs of distress. We call it ‘circus madness’.
During this study, a number of animals were seen exhibiting disturbed behaviour. At Daredevil circus, elephants exhibited head bobbing and weaving stereotypic behaviour, a classic sign of circus animal stress – it was here that a presenter was caught on film kicking and punching one of the elephants. In Fossetts Circus, the solitary elephant performed stereotypic head weaving and bobbing for a significant part of the day. At Circus Vegas, the three African elephants were observed weaving whilst chained in tents. In Il Florilegio Circus (Darix Togni), all three elephants spent a significant amount of time exhibiting stereotypic behaviour, swaying from side to side and head bobbing. Disturbed behaviour was even filmed in camels and horses.
DVDs, leaflets, posters and reports available
Over the next few weeks and months, ARAN and ADI will be distributing campaign materials throughout Ireland. The groups are calling for local and national government action as well as Europe-wide action. All of Ireland’s MPs and MEPs will be sent the ‘Stop Circus Suffering’ DVD. If you would like a copy of the DVD and/or report for use in your town, please email ARAN today on arancampaigns@eircom.net

Jump To Comment: 1 2 3 4 5As much as i agree with the sentiment and motivation of your campaign i cant help but get a feel that your priorites are in the wrong place, a worthy campaign after we have perhaos even remotely begin to make progress in dealing with the oppression and exploitation of man by man. I really believe radical activist energy is wasted on these campaigns
I can understand your point of view point. But to say this is to say that we must only focus on the most urgent causes facing mankind/living kind. ALL cases of injustice to any living thing (obliviously humans being the priority) are unacceptable and ALL are worth working and fighting against.
If you extended your above argument you could easily argue that 11 million are dying every year (one person every 3 seconds) because of poverty related causes. 1 Billion People in the world face extreme poverty living on less that 1 dollar a day. Why so should we give money to local Irish charities? Why should we spend time, money and energy on injustices and poverty in Ireland? No one in Ireland is living in extreme poverty so should we not divert ALL our energies into the 1 Billion people in the world who are facing extreme poverty.. 11 million of whom are dying every year. That’s nearly 3 times the population of Ireland wiped out every year.
I know what you are saying but I believe ALL causes are worthwhile. I also believe that once you get involved in things like animal causes it increases your awareness of human suffering and thus encourages you to get more active in human issues as well. It nourishes the soul and one's conscience which will only lead to more and better things.
Everything is interlinked and mutually supportive. And the world's systems that support animal violence and cruelty are the EXACT same systems that support human violence and cruelty. Everyting is inter linked.
Saying all that I do agree that one needs to prioritize ones activities. I still personally believe that the 11 million people dying from poverty each year is the number one atrocity facing mankind. So I think one always needs to be doing something for this - but also for as many other things as one can as well.
Youre right all these injustices are inextricably linked, all a culture of death, when in reality theirs no need for any being to die for another one to live, exceptions of course to the animal food chain of carnivores where they are unable to trancsend their nature, only MAN can trancsend his/her nature, yet most of us utterly fail or couldnt give a fuck once were alive while orhers are being killed so i can have a quarter pounder, and how lovely to ponder maybe my mother thought about having me killed b4 i was born, and friends supported it,what a loveless death and terror obsessed blood thirsty world we indeed live in.None are free until all are free as we are all one!!!
When ppl logged on this site they knew what it was in relation to, so to say campaigners energy is wasted is rubbish. If we were all to have this attitude then nobody would do anything. Every cause has to have justification and a means to highlight it. This is just one cause, ppl have the freedom to choose what they do, maybe its time that ppl start doing this wisely. I protested at a very barbaric circus today and one of my fellow campaigners was nearly knocked down a jeep that was purpose driven towards them by an animal handler. Circus ppl have no respect for ppl or animals it is all for money. If we did this to children would we be so slow to react? I think not.
Having read in the press of Aran´s various attempts to draw attention to the alleged cruelty by circus people to their animals I feel forced to comment.
When will media addicts such as Aran get their priorities right?
If they directed even 50% of the energy they waste in organising these crass and vulgar publicity events at the more widespread examples of cruelty to animals seen weekly at horse racing events and within the farming community they would ease the suffering of a hell of alot more animals.
But that wouldn´t get them half as much media glory and would draw the wrath of two strong pressure groups upon them.
Circus people are an easy target. Would they dare speak out against alleged abuses by the travelling community? Or would that tax their liberal credentials?
So it begs the question, are they really interested in animal welfare or column inches?
