'To the Networks
Dear friends a number of various activist actions around Ireland are upcoming in the months ahead, of which I shall forward.
Indeed much such campaigns and mobilisations and their background and initiations can be followed on the sites below. Also linked are sites {for those interested} in which I will be writing in-depth and specific analysis on many issues both local and international. This from Anti racism to Anti war, from the Irish peace process through to various specific local agitations, and much more.
1} The Blanket was updated yesterday with also an article I have done {I am to write here regularly now on in, again}. Indeed the Blanket was the place of my ‘Writers birth’ which afforded me a window in those earliest of my activism years {where some others would not} - to put out my ever developing thoughts.’

2} Organise! -Organise {of which I am a member} have both initiated and had been to the forefront this year of the recent mobilisations in the North, from the Joanne Delaney {'historic victory} - re – instatement, through to the most recent Afghan hunger strike mobilisations.
I will also be writing for Organise! Publications.

3} Indymedia Ireland – Indymedia is an essential site for all activists. It records and provides a mechanism for activists to publish their own material and to engage with others. Linked below is just a few of the recent posts I have put up and engaged on with others, in relation to both activism and the debate on such.
Racism - http://ireland.indymedia.org/article/75567
Belfast May Day - http://www.indymedia.ie/article/75760
http://www.indymedia.ie/article/75888
Afghan hunger strikers - http://www.indymedia.ie/article/76063
4&5} Street Seen and Make Poverty History. Street Seen had played a key role in both working within campaigns and initiating both them and the various mobilisation last year {2005} From the largest such Anti Poverty Rally seen in the North through to an International day of action against deportation and that historic climb down – through to the many street mobilisations against homelessness and poverty –
A momentous year – indeed!
The Coalition is again meeting to organise more events this year – will update
Anyone wishing Street Seen's most recent street issue of our newspaper please contact me

Make Poverty History – Link - http://www.makepovertyhistory-ni.org/event_motiv8_round....html
And of course there is my own online Diary, which in this issue has links to debates I have been involved in ranging from the issue of Collusion through to the formation of a 'new left – as well as photo links to many past activism actions. The diary {in full} also has the definitive links to all those mass Movements and campaigns, written at the time in which I with various others had been involved in - as well as links to all of my writings - {2001 - 2004}

Friends –
These are just some of the sites that will keep persons updated and create {and hold} a record of many various campaigns, as well as providing avenues for debate, discussion, or somewhere just to get ones voice out.
Will keep updated about various actions – but for now on a beautiful sunny day - well – I take time out – and -away for a picnic and to chill by the lake with a full hamper, a radio, a good book and good company, as has been the last few days. ATB - Davy Carl
