Labour has appointed Becky Francis, an intersectional feminist, to rewrite the national curriculum, which it will then force all schools to teach. Prepare for even more woke claptrap to be shoehorned into the classroom.

Limerick County Council, who are you working for?

category limerick | environment | press release author Friday June 09, 2006 02:19author by Orla Kaiser Report this post to the editors

“Water is not a commercial product like any other but rather, a heritage which must be protected defended and treated as such”
(EU Directive 2000/60/EC)

Water supply for the community of Kildimo/Pallaskenry comes from a series of natural springs at Bleach Lough.

Spring water, which is our water supply and has been for approx. 50 years, is water that is held underground in the soil and in pores or crevices in rock and is therefore by large protected from any pollution.

In Ireland between 20% and 25% of our drinking water comes from ground water. It is an unseen but a highly valuable resource.

“Water is not a commercial product like any other but rather, a heritage which must be protected defended and treated as such”
(EU Directive 2000/60/EC)

We have relied on our council to provide the best service for us, unfortunately it appears they would rather change our source of water, which has a low risk of pollution, and give us the River Deel water. The River Deel is one of the most polluted rivers in Ireland, with regard to this fact don’t trust us, check out Limerick County Councils own website!

http://www.lcc.ie/Environment/Water_Quality/Surface_Wat...y.htm

“In addition, the Rivers Maigue and the Deel, which drain the majority of the county, are the most polluted rivers in the Country in terms of phosphorous loading”
(Limerick Co. Co. Website)

We have only one question for Limerick County Council:
Who are you working for?

Limerick County Council has chosen to gate a resolution for Kilcornan homes on the changeover of Kildimo/Pallaskenry to the Deel Water Supply system.

Limerick County Council are neglecting a totally separate water issue with a neighbouring village.

We are not taking responsibility for the hold up in giving Kilcornan homes a new water supply nor do we object to these homes receiving Deel Water.

!!We can not accept that the Kilcornan issues are associated with our protest!!

We need your support today:

Michael Collins FF, who sits (and does nothing else productive) on Limerick Co. Council, was once a councillor who said he stood behind the white line, where no polluted drinking water will flow. He has long since deserted the people of Kildimo and Pallaskenry. He will not be contesting the next Council election. But he needs to be sacked right now, for deserting the very people he swore an oath to serve.

Collins has had a long history of being a dirtbag. In 2003 it emerged he had avoided taxes by using a bogus offshore account.

Michael can be contacted at:

Michael's nephew Niall Collins hopes to run in Michael's place for FF in the next Council election. Niall has continued the tradition of being a dirtbag, which was introduced and perfected by Uncle Mike. He too has promised to stand behind the white line and the peoples of Pallaskenry and Kildimo. Of course he hasn't bothered.

This particular dirtbag swore to help the peoples of Kildimo and Pallaskenry keep their spring water.

When he and his nephew (and many other dirtbags) are called to give evidence in any court case against any person involved in this dispute, this fact will be established.

Hi sean I hope that when there is a Councilor Elected in Pallaskenry next time round 'FOR THE GOOD OF THE PEOPLE' you won't call me a dirt bag. I will be looking for as much support from my neighbours and friends as will be needed to REPRESENT the people in my constituancy PROPERLY AND FAIRLY. I don't or should i say i can't believe that all our so called representatives are hideing from our campaign, maybe they ARE just sitting on the fence waiting for the last minute. Well guys and gals your too late our own people have it in hand. MANY THANKS ANYWAY.

I think you know Ken, that I'd be the first to call for a public representative who'd actually represent his or her constituents.

These people are not elected to act as 'fence sitters.'

I pray that someone, like yourself, from Pallaskenry or Kildimo, does run for public office. You'd have my support in any way that I could offer it.

I'm aware that the people involved, have this issue well in hand. And I hope that nobody is confusing support with an attempt to take over the issue. Simply put, it's an issue that effects the peoples of Pallaskenry and Kildimo first - but, in the bigger picture, it effects us all. Fellow Irish men and women are being victimised for no moral or lawful reason. Secondly, it is a covert attempt to set a precedent that determines the quality of water that will be allowable when water-privatisation is fully introduced.

I look forwards to meeting with you guys again, in the very near future - I've loads of news for ye. We've been stirring things up in Dublin and I was present in the High Court yesterday, when nothing supposedly happened.

Best wishes and solidarity,
Seán
