American Base a “burned out wasteland”
Devastating Attack Destroys US Falcon Base in Baghdad
Just before midnight on Tuesday 10th October, the Mujahideen fighters of the Islamic Army in Iraq and the Conquering Army fired barrages of Katyusha and Grad rockets into the largest US arsenal in Iraq. The resultant explosions, unprecedented in Baghdad, left the entire base a “burned out wasteland with no buildings”, according to a Defense Ministry spokesman. The puppet "Defense Ministry" source told Mafkarat al-Islam that dozens of Americans had been killed.
News of the attack and pictures of the bombed out barracks have been suppressed by the US and their Iraqi Muppets.
The arsenal contained over 50 tanks and artillery pieces in addition to armories containing weapons and ammunition. All the buildings and furnishings on the base were totally destroyed and records were completely wiped out.
At least 30 US Abrams tanks and Bradley armored vehicles were known to have been destroyed. The US army set up checkpoints Wednesday to prevent any photographs of the destroyed vehicles being taken
The American military admitted that a spectacular series of explosions in a munitions depot of the base was caused by an 82mm mortar. They admitted the attack had destroyed their stockpile, shut down operations on the base and grounded a few battalions.
The Mujahideen said that the €300 worth of rockets and missiles fired on the base of the occupying Crusaders should not cause such damage but “"by the grace of God landed amongst mountains of munitions and began to explode and throughout Baghdad the thunder of the explosions could be heard."
Major General Bilal Ahmad al-‘Ithawi, an adviser to the “Iraqi Defense Minister” said that the attack had inflicted enormous losses on the US military that could total more than US$1 billion.
