Don't be surprised if, even though he is not officially down to speak, if Mick O'Reilly of the ATGWU speaks at this meeting. Even though the ATGWU doesn't have many members in the Public Service, Mick O'Reilly believes in forging alliances between Workers in the Public Service, and the Semi-States and the Private Sector, and I totally agree with Mick. There is an ongoing campaign in the capitalist media and amongst right wing politicans to try and pit Private Sector Workers against State and Semi-State Workers. This is part of the capitalist's plot to divide and conquer. It would be great to see a delegation of the brave and heroic battling Irish Glass Bottle Workers at Thursday's meeting in Solidarity with their fellow Workers.
