Solidarity night with the Basque struggle for self-determination right.
The Belfast Basque Committee is organising the IV IRISH-BASQUE NIGHT next Good Friday, 6th of April.
This is another chance to show Belfast people's solidarity towards our Basque brothers and sisters who are facing terrible repression from the Spanish and French states while trying to put forward a democratic process of conflict resolution. Once again we want to highlight that resolution is possible at this very historical time and that peace will come from the recognition of the Basque Country and its people's right to decide their future as a nation.
From 8.30pm at Conway Mill, Lower Falls Road, you will find Basque traditional musicians, Irish and Basque DJ's playing ska, reggae and Basque mixes, patxaran, t-shirts, video screenings...and many more surprises.
Previous editions have been a huge success. We ask everybody to come early to avoid disappointment as it always gets packed.
Everybody is very welcome.
Tickets: £5> before 10pm / £8 after 10pm.Bring your own.
