Rackethall Country House Hotel, Roscrea

ANVIL Ireland will hold its' second regional meeting on Sunday the 29th of April at 2.00pm. The venue is Rackethall Country House Hotel, Roscrea, Co Tipperary. If you are interested in helping to achieve change for animals, using the democratic process, you are more than welcome to attend.

ANVIL Ireland was established to raise the profile of animals in both the public and political arena, thus ensuring adequate legislation for their protection. Presently in Ireland we have one of the highest per capita destruction rates for pound dogs in Europe. We are the 'puppy farm' capital and our cats are treated as little more than vermin.

ANVIL is researching the problems surrounding the treatment of animals in Ireland with a view to making recommendations to government on ways to improve their welfare and protection. We have held several meetings in Dublin and one regional meeting in Monaghan. The regional meetings are intended to facilitate those who are unable to make it to Dublin and we hope as many people involved in the rescue and welfare of animals will attend this meeting.

If you want to make a difference for animals, come and join us on Sunday the 29th of April in Rackethall Country House Hotel, we look forward to meeting you!
