Jump To Comment: 1Disgraceful and outrageous. The government probably knows it's a great time to instill a bit of fear into the public to quell protest at whatever 19th-century laws they will use, as an excuse the recession, to push through.
Could Liverpool's Irish heritage be another reason for this mistreatment? Many in the UK establishment have long looked down on Liverpool for this reason.
