5 of ever 6 Palestinians killed by Israeli air strikes was a member of Hamas. Hamas deliberately put the Palestinian civilians in the firing line by launching their rockets from civilians areas and using the population of Gaza as a shield.
Israel has struck the Hamas bases, headquarters, rocket factories, government and administration centres and the hide outs of the Hamas leaders taking every conceivable precaution to minimise civilian casualties.

Hamas deliberately targets innocent Israeli civilians.
The only reason Hamas exists is because of its commitment to jihad or Islamic Holy War against Israel, a democratic state and a member of the UN, it refuses to recognise, it aims to destroy and its people its seeks to murder for no other reason than they are Jews.

What is Israel is doing as we speak is national self-defense.

If Ireland were under rocket fire from loyalists who sought to destroy the Republic of Ireland, conquer the 26-counties and butcher all Roman Catholics, there would be different perspective surely?
