Busking, Face Painting Etc On Shop Street

Calling all musicians, performers and everyone to come to shop street in Galway this Saturday 7th

A Chairde. Please come to Tarapixie street carnival on Shop Street, Galway on Saturday 7th. There will be busking and face painting and dancing etc... Also there will be party later. The idea is to keep raising awareness about Tara and to try to raise funds to hire out a coach to bring 50 people up to Hill Of Tara on Tuesday 3rd March. A Lot of people from Rath Lugh direct action camp and Tara were arrested and have been in court, charged and fined quite substantial sums of money. One in particular was fined almost 2000 euros and is facing prison as doesn't have that kind of money. A Lot of us put our necks out during the campaign to try to stop the destruction and to create awareness of the corruption and total disregard of the law and protection of our heritage. We were fighting against the very devolopers, banks, politicians and they`re consorts who now have put the whole country into the worst economic recession this country will ever see. I hate saying we told you so but if people had been more aware and had stood up against them, well maybe we all would have been more prepared. So come to Galway and show your support and have some fun of course !!.. More information at tarapixie site.. Slain
