Caitríona Duffy began a 48 hour hunger strike today and will be travelling across the North as part of her fast.

Politlical Prisoner Colin Duffy's daughter Caitríona and other members of his family will be visiting Ardoyne, North Belfast @ 8pm on Saturday May 9th to highlight his continued internment.

Based on the above, I'm calling on all Belfast Republicans, Socialists, Democrats and Human Rights Activists to attend this vigil and show the Duffy Clann our full support.

The vigil will be held in Ardoyne Avenue from 8pm onwards.

Around fifty residents from the Ardoyne area turned out tonight to support the Duffy Clann in their quest for justice.

Also there were members of CFAD, IRSP, RNU and Eirigi as well as various others.

Leaflets were handed out to motorists and passers-by and then for over an hour before the Duffy's left and travelled to West Belfast.

Thanks to everyone who attended, your support was much appreciated.
