We have received information on the death of another hunger striker in Turkey. Yusuf Kutlu died in Ankara on Saturday 9th March 2002.
A protest will take place at the Turkish Embassy (11 Clyde Road, Ballsbridge) in Dublin on Tuesday 12th March at 6pm. All activists and groups welcome.
Buses: Bus No 7 from O Connell Street, get off a Jury's Hotel. Clyde Road is located behind the American Embassy. Nearest DART is Lansdowne Road.
Below are biographical details of Yusuf Kutlu

Yusuf Kutlu is the 86 martyr. He died after 279 days on Death Fast and was from the 5th group. He died in a hospital in Ankara.
He was born in 1973 in Hatay and was an ethnic Arab. He was from DHKP-C and was arrested in 1994
and had served time in prisons in Malatya and Bartin. After the massacre on December 19th he was transferred to Sincan F-type prison.
He died at 16:45 on March 9th on the 505th day of the Death Fast.

Bernadette McAliskey recently gave a talk at the Short strand community center to highlight the left wing turkish hunger strikers campaign and their hunger for justice as protest against the brutal right wing capitalist turkish regieme. More power to Martin Ferris too, we will eventually get them wimpy gardai nazi scumbags protectors and defenders of smack dealers.
