Anti-racism mural unveiled in West Belfast

Go gearr i ndiaidh na n-ionsaithe ar theaghlaigh Rómánacha i gceantar Dheisceart Bhéal Feirste, chuaigh múrphictiúr nua suas ar an Bhalla Idirnáisiúnta ar Bhóthar na bhFál ag cáineadh gach cineál biogóideachta agus na ngnímh a dtagann astu.

Tá an múrphictiúr bunaithe ar cheann déanta cheana in Ard Eoin, i ndiaidh na seachtainí de chiapadh agus de dhroch-íde a d'fhulaing páistí scoile ag Scoil Chailíní na Croise Naofa i dTuaisceart Bhéal Feirste.

Shortly after the attacks on Romanian families in the South Belfast area, a new mural went up on the International Wall on the Falls Road condemning all forms of bigotry and the actions that lead from them.

The mural is based on one done previously in Ardoyne, following the weeks of harassment and abuse faced by schoolchildren at Holy Cross Girls' School in North Belfast.
