If you wondered where the MSM get all their lurid stories attributing 'extreme weather' to climate change, look no further than a new job ad for a "researcher" focused on creating alarmist propaganda, says Chris Morrison.

Porsche has scrapped its sales targets for EVs amid a slump in demand. A previous goal of 80% by 2030 has been watered down and the company now says sales will depend on uptake and how the technology develops.

Suggested Email to Donal Murray, Bishop of Limerick

category limerick | crime and justice | other press author Sunday November 29, 2009 19:51author by Tom Report this post to the editors

Call on Bishop Donal Murray of Limerick to consider his position

Admit your failings, and resign as Bishop of Limerick.

"Dear Bishop Murray -

In light of the recent Dublin Diocesan Report, do you not feel obliged to reconsider your position?

My own view is that you should do the honourable thing, admit your failings, and resign as Bishop of Limerick.

I would welcome your response to this email."

He and a lot of other high ranking clergy should be in prison for obstructing justice.

The bishop has a group of 80 friends, who think he should stay on,,,,,but should he be judged by his friends or by the victims of abuse, (and their friends and family) , who suffered while he did nothing.
Anyone who does nothing, while the weak are abused, should hang their heads in shame.
If that person, was in a position of influence at that time, then they are not fit leaders, (then or now).
Self preservation, (of their title) is not a valid excuse.
Despicable.
To be associated with this organisation is embarassing.
This is not a request for his "head on a plate",,,,,that would involve his prosecution for criminal negligence. Just resign.
And his failings were not confined to Dublin either,,,,,remember Peter McCloskey, RIP,,,,,for one

I agree with your sentiments and can understand how ordinary catholics feel let down by these bishops. The fact that these bishops can live in palaces and actually call them palaces while so many poor people are homeless seems cruel and insensitive . Is it possible to shame them ?
The Irish Times article is by Patsy McGarret the paper's religious affairs corresspondent . Really shouldn't the Times crime correspondent be doing the writing.

It is unbelievable
in every facet of Irish life people at the top seem to have no comprehension of what "responsibility" means.
bankers still feel they are entitled to .6 million salaries
politicians expect us to have faith in their abilities, despite their atrocious failings
bishops feel that they can learn from their mistakes and carry on regardless
over the years ,judges, councillors, gardai,,,,is there any aspect of irish society that has not been rife with corruption and corrupt people

My dad was with the boy scouts from Blackrock College, Dublin and remembers Donal Murray (who was also with them at the time) as a repugnant sarcastic git!
