People all over the world will be drumming through each time zone passing the Drum Wave on.

On the Full Moons of 24 July 2002 and 22nd August 2002 at 8pm (your local time)people all over the world will be drumming through each time zone
passing the Drum Wave on.

What is the Global Drum Wave for?

>From 26 August to 4 September 2002 heads of governments along with
thousands of advisors and experts will meet at the UN Earth Summit,
Johannesburg, South Africa.

How do you take part in the Global Drum Wave?

Arrange to meet up with as many people as you can on 24 July and 22
August at 8pm, your local time and get drumming.

There has already been a Global Drum Wave on the Full Moons of 26 May and 24 June. Drum beats travelled around our planet - Australia, Bali,
Asia, Europe, US and the Americas.

Each wave has been building in its support with a crescendo planned for the 22 August - to heighten awareness of the beginning of the Peoples
Earth Summit. We aim to make a real impact here and receive media
coverage.

Who is Co-ordinating the Global Drum Wave?

The Gaia Foundation are one of the organisations facilitating the Peoples Earth Summit, along with other Global partners. The Peoples Earth Summit invites people everywhere to get involved in
supportive activities around the time of UN Earth Summit and beyond.
