All seven known as the Kings Bay Plowshares 7 were protesting against the presence of nuclear weapons in Kings Bay in Georgia USA. Martha was the sixth defendant to go to prison. She goes there in honour after four friends testified on her behalf. One of them told the court that in a future nuclear holocaust when stricken children would ask their dying parents 'why didn’t somebody stop this, while we still had a chance to stop it? Dave Donnellan and Colm Roddy, both with addresses in Dublin, attempted to get Shannon personnel to search a US plane for arms in 2916 and were charged with criminal damage. Patrick O'Neill told the court of Ankle monitoring in America on the Day of his sentencing.
On Friday last, 16 October, Patrick O'Neill was sentenced in Georgia to 14 months in prison for a non-violent protest In Kings Bay Trident Nuclear Base on 4 April 2018. He is the third of the Kings Bay 7 to be convicted. read full story / add a comment

Remember all the hospitals apparently bombed by Assad in Syria. If you were a keen observer you would have counted at least 100. I doubt there is that many hospitals in the whole country. Well it was all Western propaganda. Today a series of leaks shows how Western powers acted as the PR front for the terrorists and "rebels" in Syria. The West was actually backing ISIS. Yes, ISIS the head chopping terrorist group. One has to wonder about all the ISIS / Terrorist attacks in Europe, if the same powers have been backing them in Syria. Is their a link. That has to be.
This report comes from zero hedge regarding the main leak of documents linking the Western governments running of the successful disinformation campaign. Ever wonder why when Russia entered Syria they managed to destroy over 1200 ISIS oil tanker trucks in a few nights and slash their fund raising in the process whilst up to down with all the satellites, drones, electronic surveillance and everything else, the US and NATO forces could not find them. The Programme for Government produced by Fianna Fail, Fine Gael and the Green Party promises a lot that is encouraging, but on the issue of US military use of Shannon Airport - which the majority of Irish people oppose - it is disappointing.

Shannonwatch are appalled at the continuing use of Shannon Airport by US military troop carriers, despite the issuing of a stop movement order to the US military by US Defence Secretary Mark Esper on March 25th. This was intended to halt travel and movement abroad for up to 60 days in an effort to limit the spread of the coronavirus. However, troop carriers have been landing at Shannon as recently as April 10th, 11th and 12th. “We are astonished that in these times of national emergency, our leaders continue to permit the landing of foreign troops at Shannon Airport” said Shannonwatch spokesperson John Lannon. “Facilitating the movement of troops half way across the world to invade and occupy other countries is never good. In an unprecedented tweet earlier in the week President Trump carried out the worst crime in the eyes of the establishment. He admitted the US went to war in Iraq and Afghanistan based on lies and that millions of lives and trillions of dollars were therefore wasted for no good reason other than lies. This is the worst crime imagineable -that is telling the truth about this for it exposes the reality of the system. The Democrats and others are not trying to impeach Trump because of some minor thing or another. It is because they don't trust him to continue running US imperialism as have done nearly all proceeding both Republican and Democrat presidents. They don't give a f**k about democracy since they were part and parcel of the lies and wars of aggression too.
