The Dail recently voted to join PESCO. This is the first stage of Ireland joining an EU Army. With PESCO we will be under the command of NATO. This would be the end of our neutrality.

It also commits Ireland to spending € 2+ billion on military spending. Currently we spend around a €500 million or about a quarter of that figure.

In the past week two more people have lost their lives while cycling on roads in Ireland, bringing the total number of cyclists killed in 2017 to 14*. That is *four more than were killed in all of 2016, and it makes 2017 the deadliest year for cyclists in more than a decade. On November 2nd 2017, please join us between 1pm and 2.30pm for a symbolic lunchtime protest at the British Embassy in Dublin to commemorate the centenary of the issuance of the ‘Balfour Declaration’ by the British Empire, which promised historic Palestine to the Zionist movement against the wishes of the Palestinian people – thus laying the foundation for waves of ethnic cleansing and the ongoing colonisation of Palestine by Israel.
