Independent journalist Whitney Webb, writing for Unlimited Hangout, reports that intelligence agencies in the UK and US are now targeting websites that promote “vaccine hesitancy.” British and American state intelligence agencies are “weaponizing truth” to quash vaccine hesitancy as both nations prepare for mass inoculations, in a recently announced “cyber war” to be commanded by AI-powered arbiters of truth against information sources that challenge official narratives. In just the past week, the national-security states of the United States and United Kingdom have discreetly let it be known that the cyber tools and online tactics previously designed for use in the post-9/11 “war on terror” are now being repurposed for use against information sources promoting “vaccine hesitancy” and information related to Covid-19 that runs counter to their state narratives. read full story / add a comment

More than 20,000 people demonstrated Saturday in eastern Germany against government-imposed restrictions meant to slow the spread of the coronavirus after a court rejected the city of Leipzig’s attempt to move the protest away from a central square, police said. By the city’s calculations, only 5,000 people could gather in Augustusplatz plaza and keep 1.5 meters (5 feet) away from one another. With protest organizers saying they expected at least 16,000 participants, administrators had sought to have the demonstration moved to a larger location outside the city’s center. read full story / add a comment

As thousands of people in the UK this past weekend protested new COVID lockdowns, the British Army is planning on rolling out a massive new COVID testing initiative in the city of Liverpool this week, seeking to test a half million people in a program that will be rolled out to the entire nation if successful. As part of that initiative, a letter was sent out to the parents of children attending Broadgreen International School, letting them know that their child would be tested by the military even without their consent. read full story / add a comment

Hundreds have defied a ban on rallies in Britain as they protested against the lockdown in Liverpool and scuffled with police. Two people were arrested and three were fined for breaching Covid-19 restrictions. Between 300 and 400 people took part in a march denouncing the latest Covid-19 lockdown, according to police. The protesters did not wear masks and openly ignored social distancing rules. read full story / add a comment

One characteristic feature of the Covid-19 hoax particularly noticeable has been the complete obedience and compliance of young people. This is all upside down. The youth are supposed to be the rebellious one to defy authority. They and students especially have quite often historically been the source of many revolutionary acts. They should be out pushing the envelope and exerting their independence. Instead they have been sheepish and scared which is not a good omen for their own futures. It would seem though that that flame has not been totally extinguished and is still showing life at least in Manchester as reported here Students angered by fences put up around their halls of residence have pulled down the barriers in protest. The fences were erected on Thursday at the University of Manchester’s Fallowfield campus as a “security measure” to “help avoid the mixing of households”. But the measure – which was not explained to residents until after the fences went up – caused unrest among students, who protested on Thursday evening and pulled the barriers down. The university subsequently issued an apology and said the fences would be removed on Friday. read full story / add a comment

We, The People, are concerned about worldwide media reporting about covid. Are you, Western Media Moguls, realizing that there is hardly anything else on your programs other than covid? – Covid is at the center of everything. UPDATE: The motion was passed despite opposition. See responses below. We believe it is important to keep emailing. Make sure they understand this is serious. The ICCL had to lobby to get a sunset clause added to the first version of this Act. There is no provision that prevents another (or indefinite) extension. The Dáil is meeting on October 22nd 2020 to pass a motion on the extension of the above mentioned emergency measures until June 9th 2021. They are also voting for more power to enforce these measures through fines and with the help of Garda Síochána. Many of us are concerned about the proposed extension of extraordinary powers given to the State during the Covid-19 pandemic under the Health (Preservation and Protection and other Emergency Measures in the Public Interest) Act 2020 and would like to message our TDs about these concerns. Unfortunately this article should have been published on Oct 20th read full story / add a comment

Tens of thousands, and perhaps now even hundreds of thousands of doctors, nurses, and many other medical professionals worldwide are taking action to combat the misinformation being propagated by governments and government-controlled media that continue to publish false propaganda regarding COVID. The vast majority of medical professionals worldwide now seem to agree that the COVID “pandemic” and the government actions still being implemented in response to COVID are causing much more harm than COVID itself. Almost all of these doctors and medical professionals now seem to agree that COVID is no worse than a typical flu season, and the main test being used to supposedly test for COVID, the PCR Test, is not reliable. read full story / add a comment

Today across the country all the major food retailers like Lidl, Aldi and Tesco have been banned from selling middle isle "non-essential" but really are essential items like clothes, toys, homeware and other items and there has been widespread anger. This is being co-ordinated across Europe as only last week the same thing happened in Wales, UK and other countries where co-ordinated lockdowns and curfews are being put in place. Same types of bans are widespread not only across Europe but the USA. read full story / add a comment

Parisian restaurant and bar workers have taken to the streets carrying a mock coffin, an expression of their anger at new Covid-19 restrictions, which they say will kill off the whole industry.
At a rally organized by the local trade association in the French capital on Thursday, the protesters staged the mock funeral procession with the words “Bars – restaurants – clubs” written on the coffin.Others held up a sign “Restaurant industry 1686-2020, RIP,” referring to the year when the first café-type business was opened in Paris. Given the expectation that the public must accept what restrictions the State imposes, the basis of these decisions are not the exclusive preserve of experts and advisers or even of elected officials. None of these officials was elected with the prospect of severe restriction of personal liberty in view. Yet this power has been arrogated by these officials on the basis of advice of a dire public health emergency, the predictions of which proved wholly exaggerated. It is insufficient at this stage to claim “emergency.” The emergency has passed. The harm has proved far less than advertised. Deaths are few. Yet “recommendations” are still being promulgated, and severe restrictions are again being proposed. read full story / add a comment

The current debacle in education over Leaving Cert results is a stark example of lack of thought about the fundamentals of human rights. Should high marks in an exam entitle one child to a place in some coveted university course while denying it to another child who has lower marks. Put another way does high intelligence give a student more entitlements. read full story / add a comment

The US drive to extradite and prosecute Julian Assange poses a grave threat to journalists everywhere, but the publisher’s opponents have placed politics over principle, and even their own interests, said whistleblower Ed Snowden. Due to the success of the smear campaign against Assange over the years Snowden has to speak defensively of him as per quotes below “I think a lot of it comes down to people forgetting what principles are and why they're important,” Snowden said in an interview with Joe Rogan on Tuesday. “You can hate Julian Assange, you can think he's a puppet of Russia, you can think he's the worst person on Earth – a reincarnation of Hitler or Stalin – and still realize that convicting him harms you.” read full story / add a comment |
