Sinn Féin Poblachtach Head Office in Dublin will be distributing 1,000 leaflets etc at this rally, in the form of 'leaflet packs' , each consisting of at least three items.
These will be distributed on the day of the event, Saturday 19th September 2015, in O'Connell Street, between O'Connell Bridge and the Ambassador Theatre.
Thanks,
Sharon.
1,000 printed republican items will be distributed at this Rally on the day.
Hi!
This rally went ahead as outlined above and was a very successful event : it was Chaired by Josephine Hayden and two RSF members - Des Dalton, President, and Geraldine McNamara, PRO - spoke from the lectern as did one uniformed member from Na Fianna Éireann. Three-hundred-and-fifty 'leaflet packs', comprising 1,200 printed items of a republican nature, were distributed on O'Connell Street before and during the proceedings and were eagerly accepted by the public.
Two issues in particular struck a note of approval with the audience - the recent conduct of the GAA leadership and the re-internment of Thomas Kent.
A few words and pics re same can be accessed at the 'Related Link' , below, and a full report will be carried in the October 2015 issue of 'Saoirse'.
Thanks,
Sharon.
