Galway writer Maureen Gallagher has been awarded first prize in the Hanna Greally Short Story Competition. Maureen is author of Calling The Tune, a poetry collection, and Protest In Genoa: An Irishwoman’s Diary, both available from Charlie Byrne’s bookshop.
