 Dublin meeting next Tuesday On Tuesday 17 September there is a meeting to start organising in Dublin. This will be at 8pm in the Kings Inn, Bolton street. If you are in Dublin and want to campaign against the Nice treaty as part of LAN please come along to the meeting Libertarians against Nice Last weekend a national meeting of activists founded Libertarians against Nice. This meeting also agreed the text of a national leaflet, at least 50,000 of which will be printed. Several poster designs were also agreed. In the next few days these will be added to our web site at http://more.at/stopnice LAN is a network of groups and individuals across Ireland campaigning against the Nice treaty from a libertarian perspective. We are making opposition to capitalist globalisation, Fortress Europe, militarism and the expansion of police powers the basis of our campaign. We also intend to put forward a positive view of a libertarian Europe as an alternative to the bosses Europe proposed in the Nice treaty. Over the next week or so local LAN groups will be setting up around the country. On Tuesday 17 September there is a meeting to start organising in Dublin. This will be at 8pm in the Kings Inn, Bolton street. If you are in Dublin and want to campaign against the Nice treaty as part of LAN please come along to the meeting. If for any reason you can't make it but want to distribute literature in your area please contact us. We have already raised a considerable sum of money to pay for the campaign but further donations are welcome and needed.
