It's bad enough that all UK TV users are forced to fund the BBC via a TV licence. But it's worse than that, says Charlotte Gill: millions of pounds of taxpayers' money are handed to the corporation via backdoor channels.

You are so childish trying to pick up on little spelling mistakes. But a bit of advise if you are going to be childish and look for mistake’s like that look at what you write first “beat em up” I get irritated by you’s to. I think I will start really irritating you’s by posting messages on this site that will have to be deleted which will mean that indymedia staff will have to monitor this site 24 hrs a day. May be messages like “Indy media is closing down”. Ha ha . I know you’s will all post messages saying that no body will belive me . But if the message is on the site for 5 mins and one person sees it and believes it. You’s try create confusion. I will give u a lesson in confusion.

Did you ever stop and think that a secret government conspiracy to take over the Iraqi oilfields could be targetting just you and watching your every move. Perhaps your very computer is watching you right now even as you go about your everyday life of conspiracy theory after conspiracy theory. Maybe They are all out to get You. Remember it could only be you that they are after because you are the threat. You know too much and Yahoo knows this.

I just sent my Yahoo! account the above text a few hundred times - I got no such censorship message.

I also sent the text from Yahoo! a few times, no problems.

Googling for the text of the message returns no hits. If Yahoo! have started censorship in this manner, they're not very good at it, nobody else has noticed it and it'd curtail huge amounts of everyday
conversation ("Oklahoma is the bomb!", "I think that Bush is right with what he's doing in Iraq, we should go after them 'cos of Sept. 11th..." etc.)

Have you contacted Yahoo! to see if this email wasn't faked?

Yahoo! have censored material relating to China to Chinese users before, but censorship in this manner would be stepping it up to an unprecedented level.
