OK, can you please take that poker out of your ass and do something constructive with it? You should be happy that the SP is seen as THE "socialists". No-one is caught up in their own importance enough to want to have their party referred to as "the Irish section of the Socialist International" (labour) or "the Irish section of the International Socialists" (swp)...quit being so fucking arrogant, it's not very revolutionary.
The TDs only have something to go to because everyone else went down there. Stop over emphasizing the attendance of some unimportant knob ends.
Eoin writes that there were TDs from "the Socialists". I think you will find that Joe Higgins is a TD for the Socialist Party, the irish section of the Committee for a Workers' International.
How do you know that the Socialist Party can count?
