Psychiatry has had quack theories about 'abnormal' states of human consciousness for over a hundred years. It's always been a form of social control. This branch of medicine has too much legal power, which it's willing to exercise at the drop of a hat.

Pharms are PART of the hated Big Cig industry by way of a) tobacco pesticides and residues in cigs, b) non-tobacco cigarette ingredients, c) chlorine and its by-product, dioxin, and, d)desire to remove tobacco & nicotine from the public domain (for free) for exclusive, "controlled substance" use.
Why Big Pharm is permitted to happily go its way without even any public questioning about its role in Big Cig, to continue to paint itself as a "health" industry while being part of what even THEY say is the worst health-damaging industry, is a deep mystery.
Until a Pharm, or a Pharm's representative in government, can be questioned about their use of chlorine (sole source of carcinogen, top POP, dioxin) and/or their parts in non-tobacco cigarette ingredients and adulterants, that Pharm (or that public official) deserves no credibility.
Put THEM on the defensive.
