Delta Day.

category international | arts and media | opinion/analysis author Thursday May 27, 2004 23:01author by iosaf the ipsiphi - elfies Report this post to the editors

being the day he who has sworn the Oath of Bones must stand aside the representatives of "power".

D Day normandy you know about.
Day before General Strike thingy and a big cheery very sincere fuck off Bush message.

Everyone else "on the stand" will be "used to this". & Everyone else will somehow come across as being more "sensitive", "aware", "dignified" and "sussed" as to the "importance" of "Delta Day". Even the Irish whose forebears didn't see what all the fuss was about will try and cluck cluck just like Minister Mc Dowell does now. Nothing much has changed. Everything has changed.

The last time Bush spent the night out of the USA he spent it in the impregnable castle of Hillsborough in the Queen of England's own private Northern Ireland. "our wee north".
I'm not telling you where he's gonna stay in France.

France is different to our republics, in many ways:-

The Imaginary and Sublime Republic of Catalanland Barcelona whence I write as always doesn't have nuclear weapons.
France does.
The Imaginary and Sublime Republic of Little Rascals Bertie Ahern and Ltd Co. Ireland doesn't have nuclear weapons either.
France does.

The IRS CatalanBCN relies on nuclear power for some 80% of it's electricity needs, but will in 15 years have switched to completely non nuke energy.
The French likewise await 26 years more to switch from their 70% reliance on nuclear energy for their electricity.
The IRS Ireland relies on fossil fuel consumption for it's electricity and only gets nuclear waste from our neighbours the British Hun.

Anyway, Friends, Sublime ones,
I have not come today
to discuss neither Nuclear Energy
nor families.

No, I have decided in the spirit of Nobel winning Satire, to remind you, that the Supreme Wookie Bush, is not the man we are after. And this causes us many problems.

It has occured to me, that we need flush out the one we want.

Q. how will we flush out the one we want?
A. provoke them.
Q. how would you suggest provoking them?
A. do him.

off on a tangent why not:-
Some weeks ago, Carlos the Jackel was moved, by the French who hold him, for being a persistent shit, around about the same time, the DGSE loosened their attitude to satire, people who haven't been shits, and allowed us all more depth to the google. They also attracted attention to one of their murdered agents. a LB of flesh.
The Swedish as you know also would like their Lb of flesh. I assure you Colonel Putin would like his lb of flesh, for did not Daddy Bush promise Marshall Aid to the USSR/CIS?
We Irish really honestly, Bertie, the French told you themselves "your presidency is gonna be historique" ya boo, we Irish would like our lb of flesh. And weird as it is, the dissenters of Ulster and Scotland want their lb of flesh too.
Let us look anywhere, and we see that everyone knows, WB2 is a puppet.
Why Mr Moore has waxed rich and awarded telling us so. So, let's "do him". It will honestly serve all our interests.

Merci Beaucoup.
Amnesty International has ¿(have you been doing your homework?) made special mention of the French Police Forces for their behaviour in 2003. "les flics". It was a long year, we may remember the G8, we may look back to the veil, and the lead-up to this year's municipal elections, which sort of signalled a containment "for the moment" of the FN.
So lots done.
& the Right way too.
Merci Beaucoup.

The German "power" will for the first time since fighting the allied forces on June 6 1944 return to Normandie and take their place in _remembrance_ of the War Dead.

For some this signals a new seat for the Germans and the Japanese on the United Nations Security Council.

Also present will be Mr (colonel) Putin who came in for _serious_ criticism for alledged war crimes in Checnya in 2003 from the Amnesty people "AI".

Oh, and Mr Blair will be there.
He got lots of criticism from AI too.
He's sort of converted in a shit these days, and to think one of my squatmates cooked his special dinners all those years ago and we sort of could see something in common.

Oh yes.

I am very disappointed. & so too are you.
None of us really want either Kerry or Bush, and most of us have gone past the time when we even believe the USA elections @ all @ all. I once mused it might be useful to redeem their democracy and the faith of their millions of citzens in homeland, who are like the Irish heavily reliant on fossil fuels by sending out to the fields for a general.

I did suggest Wesley Clark.

But Bush will not be done.
He will wave, salute, platitute, swagger, insult, walk Disney fashion over the graves and then go back to Election times, with a let us be frank "ugly" Mr Hamza who just sounds oh too right for the Osama role.

I do satire.
Ink, pen, he man! words and digital
are truly greater than the sword,
bullet or nuclear powered aircraft carrier.

Do Bush please.

there is a long list of people who would forgive such a regretable slip of protocol, manners and élan. & besides, thereafter we would see "the Nth Man" pit against the Generals.

For we are playing that sort of game.

Delta Day and the French Popular Mobilisation against the Hyper-Capitalism of the "Bush"/"Reagan"/Bush/"Clinton"/Bush"
recipe will be fun.

I'm gonna take you on a magick carpet ride!

Now, who's going to ask me what I mean by "doing bush"?

probably the same people who wonder what ambush means.

The USA, that goliath which joined Europe in fighting Fascism from 1941 to 1945, though it's active land campaign we must remember was only dated from 1944 to 1945 has asserted it won't give a "depart date" from Iraq.

Mr Boucher the US spokesperson on this one told whoever bothered to listen that "one can not arbitrarily place a date for the end of the international mandate".

Check that out!
Mr Boucher, who is a representative to the US Congress for Virginia has supported the UN plan for Cyprus, lauded Abu Mazen on Israel and interestingly lobbied the €U for Turkish accesion, is now calling the US/UK illegal occupation of Iraq _"an international mandate"_ and being listened to.

How they slipped that upon us.

And the French in the form of Chirac whilst spending a visit in Guatemala have agreed with the Chinese that the "you shallt leave" date is
Janvier 2005. (my 34º birthday = I will have cake) Meanwhile the Germans, who have not (have we heard?) turned into Huns in their dealings with the Pole, Latt, Estonian and Lithiunian or Slovak or Czech to the East, in the form of Schroeder whilst spending a visit in Mexico have utterly butterly agreed, kisses all round.

For the benefit of those some 300,000,000 north americans who don't yet live on our Continent where the Empire began and is centered in oh so many myriad languages,

(in alpha-betical order)
France is about the size of Colorado.
Germany is about the size of Montana.
Guatamala is slightly smaller than Tennessee.
Iraq is about the size of Idaho.
Israel is about the size of Lake Michigan or Vancouver island or Sardinia.
Ireland is slightly larger than West Virginia where the CIA come from.
Ipsiphi is about one quarter the weight of Michael Moore but the same height as Chomsky.
Mexico is about 3 times the size of Texas with which it holds certain problems.

the Empire will not reform
It will destroy itself.
we must alone afford it
a wee bit of space
& ne'er forget to render
onto it, exactly what it wants.
If not in the way it thought it
asked.

Dear Mike,
we have never met, but we share many things in common as you know. I as you might not know, regularly write prisoners of conscience little postcards.
Here's yours.

You're a terrible puritan. If you go through with all these ideas of yours, health problems, social problems and that section of the Irish community already at odds with your qualified reserve the law and jurisprudence will be sorely agreviated.
Make your noises, fly your kites, do your "do".
But think about the consequences of some of your prohibitions in terms which are not only judicial.
You're looking very well in the photos of late.
You're not really a concubine of Satan, nor is the Mammy Harney, but you are slowly going that way.
I hope this doesn't indicate that we will be sharing the odd postcard till I figure which way that is :-)
Meanwhile isn't it quite thought provoking how much money your state would pay for an exile's papers that not even his flesh & blood would want you display, referring of course to the blogging of Brother Joyce?

yours etc.,

Iosaf MacDiarmada the ipsiphi

Postscript-
Minister I'm going to call you "mikey" from now on. It's more simian. I don't think the readers appreciate the "mike who lived upstairs in the young ones' analogy" anymore, and _we all know_ you're not a mick.

I'm drunk. spent two hours intensive doing south america narcotraffic chit chat and developing new strategies for making people happy and helping them feed their kids sort of stuff during which i was plyed with beer.
no puritan me.

ok so the news that pinochet is open for "doing" makes us smile.
Smile on. This is important news that causes both left and right to smile. But only after a statutes of political limitation has been passed, as in he couldn't be got before. But times they are a changing....
We may likewise some day see such an alliance of Conservative European lawyers and Left South American Groups get Bush, Thatcher the whole damned lot.

we have the best indication yet that multi-polarism is the declared wish for globalised development. The 3rd summit between the €U and it's cultural trade and geopolitical partners in South and Central America has said as much this afternoon.
Now that's not exactly cake for everyone yet, but it signals that we must start working on "Nice Cop Europe" coz our influence will lessen come June 30. the EU looking southward also made in the last 24 hours grumbling noises about Nigeria, which really isn't enough. We have to send more digital cameras and computers to Nigeria to make it relevant to our politicians careers.

UN security stuff:-
read it in French, ok? Let the Brit Huns and YAnkeeDixies read it in english. You could read it in German, or Chinese as well.

Delta Boy Bush is being told by as many different sections of world community, that we don't have adjectives suitable to describe such a bandwagon anymore. He truly has been my favourite US president, the easiest to oppose, it is worth noting that monarchial systems have turned to constitutional parliamentary systems so often, because of the simple rule of breeding:-
"Just coz you're an alpha don't mean you get an alpha baby."
This is worth considering when you try and stop the slum-dwellers of Dublin breeding Minister. Let's look @ Bush. Daddy Bush is an alpha, no doubt about it. But the son? Effin delta and no doubt about that. The British Hun royal family can hide such mediocrity, the Bush Dynasty can't. And the world of alphas dont want to be led by a delta anymore. I hope they are. I'm loving it.
http://www.lemonde.fr/web/article/0,1-0@2-3210,36-366589,0.html

oh and Sharon has gone to the Knesset, (he is an alpha) to ask them to vote (again) on leaving Gaza. He promised his party if he lost the last vote which he did, that he would shelve the plan. Let's make this clear.
He hasn't shelved the plan.
He has gone back for a 2nd vote.
There are lots of alphas in his party too.
http://libe.com/page.php?Article=210023

James Joyce is still xerox-able and I'm sure he'd love it, the thought of his private youthful notes being kept private as he had wished, and the readers only getting the bits of his soul he wanted to lay bare. He wasn't an alpha. He was quite sublimely above all that.
Xerox his work. Paste in on the walls. He is your writer, not theirs'.

NYC is about to launch it's own hispanic "el independiente" an answer to the very succesful IMC print project which has been freely available to NYCers for the last two years.

And NYC indymedia is launching a radio station!

These will offer NYCers independent news and anti War stuff in spanish.
the only other anti-War newspaper is owned by Swedish Media magnate "metro" which each day issues 300,000 free copie to subway users. It's a commercial concern.

Unfortuantely most of the USA is as far from NYC physically, legally, psyhcologically and spiritually, as "Dublin is from Boston".

No delegation for either Spain or Ireland attended the D Day celebrations. Naturally you would think both De Valera's Eire and Franco's España were in a state of neutral emergency in 1944 a moral detachment which meant neither got Marshall funding for a while after the war ended.
But as we know, Irishmen and Spanishmen did fight in WW2 and played "their part".
Well the Spanish involvement is to be marked in Paris this August 24th, the 60th anniversary of the liberation of that city.
And I thought I'd tell you about it, because it's interesting.

at 21h22 the first Allied people to enter Paris, were a unit of Spanish Republicans, called "la Neuve" (the new). Isn't that interesting?
I had always imagined the day as that of De Gaulle with his legions of free French, but it turns out the LeClerc tank battalion which entered the city first that day, was led by a bunch of Spanish Republicans themselves veterans of the Civil War.

Their names were :-
Granell, Campos, Bernal, Fábregas, Royo, Pujol, Domínguez.

They were forgotten, airbrushed indeed, let us not forget their comrades in the Maquis (the French resistance of whom Samuel Beckett was an intelligence operative) were the last to offer armed resistance to Franco when they invaded (/liberated) the Aran Valley in the Pyrennes at the end of the war. But now thanks to the efforts on one Evelyn Mesquida, a correspondent with the Parisian magazine "Tiempo" (I presume it's a spanish community publication) the French authorities are to mark their debt to these men by renaming a square in Paris this August.
