World Kindness Day may have passed you by. But it won't have passed by your children, whose school will have been sure to teach that climate action and open borders are essential elements of 'kindness', says Steven Tucker.

Greg Palast Before US Civil Rights Commission Regarding Fraudulent 2000 US Presidential Elections

category international | politics / elections | news report author Thursday July 15, 2004 18:31author by Barry Finnegan - personal capacity Report this post to the editors

Mr. Palast Is Appearing In Front Of The US Civil Rights Commission Today, Thursday July 15th.

Greg Palast the investigative reporter and author of The Best Democracy Money Can Buy, carried this story for the BBC television show Newsnight and The Guardian newspaper in the UK back in 2000 and goes as far as to have in his possession two computer discs contains the 97,000 names of mostly Democrat-voting African-Americans which were illegally removed by the office of the Secretary of State of Florida from the Florida electoral roll. The list was so faulty that Mr. Palast even interviewed an conviction-free electoral returning officer whose name was purged from the electoral roll.

Palast will also be revealing the details he has uncovered regarding precisely how Governor Jeb Bush [Bush The Younger’s brother] managed to swing Florida for the NeoCons when he appears as a panellist on a joint Minority Outreach Forum sponsored by the Congressional Black Caucus and Senator Hillary Clinton.

A number of newsworthy points can now be made regarding this issue:

1. The structural inefficiencies, oligopolistic ownership and ideological bias of the media meant the story went uncovered in the USA when it mattered - during the dodgy Florida recount in late 2000.
2. Those who say Bush won because Nader ran in 2000 are wrong. Bush won because of massive electoral fraud.
3. As a result of the outrage (muted, as it was) caused by the US Civil Rights Commission it looks like they [the Bush Junta] might not be able to pull it off again for this coming November; see ‘Florida Scraps Felon Vote List: http://www.sptimes.com/2004/07/11/State/Florida_scraps_felon_.shtml.

Katherine Harris, Floridas Ass.Sec. to u know who (Jeb) and also G.W's presidential campaign manager for Florida paid a company called 'Data Com Technologies' to remove the names of 'suspected' felons.
How much?... 4 million.

Now there's a novel idea.
Tom Ridge and his compadres at "Homeland Security" have been investigating the idea of postponing the Presidential elections in November in case there is a threat of terrorist attack...

And what is illyad allawi (MI-6 and CIA agent, and,,, new 'prime minister' of Iraq) has been floating with the idea of martial law and postponing elections in Iraq.

There some people who say say... "Democracy is best taught by example, not by war." I guess they don't like that in Washington,,, and it's an idea they don't want in New York during their national convention read about that... and think about free expression in the US.
