If the BBC's Standards Committee, which is reviewing the corporation's coverage of climate change, wants a good example of bias, it should take a look at its report of recent floods in Pakistan, says Paul Homewood.

WOLVES IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING.

An attack on a vunerable Woman in a remote area in Co.Limerick

News from Tournafulla Today is that the remote Home of a Dutch Lady was the sujbect of a arson attack. It has noted over the recent Weeks that this may occur ,as a few individuals in the area have shown interest in the Property. This Lady has been the victim of much harassment over a long period of time by a variety of People. One of the interested Parties in the Property was in fact a Solicitor 'acting' for this Lady in a Land dispute. A few Days ago ,on leaving 'her' Solicitor's Office, 'her' Solicitor remarked,' I will give you 30,000 euros for your House and 3 acres ,less of course 5000euros for my Fee to date. When she declined this'offer', he remarked,' you know your House is not insured'. 'It could burn down you know.'

More News on this disgusting Story as we receive it.

Having spent a little over a Day at her Home at Knockanara Toulafulla Co.Limerick on Wednesday , this Woman was confronted with a fire raging outside her Door. An attempt was made to burn her House with her inside. Days before ,her Solicitor remarked 'you know your House is not insured,it could burn down you know'. Local Farmer and Solicitor associate ,Mr.Michael O'Callaghan is presently encroaching on her Land with Farm items and Machinery and refuses to leave. Solicitor Mr.Michael O'Donnell of Main Street Rathkeale had offered her 30,000 euros for her House and three acres. An acre of Land was burned when the wind changed direction and this Person received burns ,smoke inhilation and bleeding Knees when attempting to extinguish the Flames at her Home. A unit of the Fire Brigade and Ambulance was called and this Person spent the Night in Limerick Hospital. Next Morning at 11.30a.m. this Person went Abbyfeale Garda Station to report this Crime. The Garda refused to enter it in the Day Book having been asked twice to do so. He said 'it is better to go to Listowel [ Co.Kerry ] with this, it is a Civil matter'. ??? She has left the County for her safety.
Registered Letters will be sent to the relevnent People on the issue who will be held culpable, including Ministers and Police Chiefs.

This story has the ingredients of a "Donegal" except there is no one dead (yet). An isolated woman with three acres and a house (for now). The Garda referring to it as a "civil" matter, her "solicitor" flagging up a burning of the house, some gentleman this specimen is and then an attempted burning with the woman inside. This story appears to need definite EXPOSURE and registered letters to the relevant authorities,ie the chief bottle washers in those authorities with of course Noel Conroy Garda Commissioner and McDowell at the top of the pile, putting it all "On The Record".

They cant say they never got it.

Fair play to you Peter in EXPOSE. PS: INDYMEDIA needs to get stickyback labels and start advertising itself. I dont care how many hits INDYMEDIA gets, do a straw poll on any main street and see how many people ever heard of it . "On the street" the word, my friends, is NOT on the street, about I Media. EXPOSURE is the name of the game. Great instrument I Media is, now lets spread the word. EG : "Got a story ? Read the real news www.indymedia.ie". And run it up the flag pole. SALUTE !
