Conference asks British rulers to tender unconditional apology to Pakistan, particularly Sindh Govt on hanging of Pir Pagaro Senior

KARACHI: A conference on the life and struggle of
'freedom fighter' Syed Sibghatullah Shah Pir Pagaro (Surehe Badshah) held in local hotel of Karachi which was conveyed by The Sufi
Institute. The first session presided over by Justice Syed Sajjad Ali Shah,
former chief justice supreme Court of Pakistan whereas chief guest was Syed
Fakhar Imam, former speaker national assembly of Pakistan. The second session
presided over by Air Marshal (Retd) Muhammad Asghar Khan whereas chief guest was
Illahi Bux Soomro, ex-speaker of national assembly of Pakistan. On the
suggestion of Air Marshal (R) Asghar Khan, two resolutions were passed.
Illahi Bux Soomro said it was not suitable for Pakistan army to kill its own
people instead of enemies.

In one resolution, British Govt was asked to tender unconditional apology to
Pakistan particularly Sindh government for hanging Sorehe Badshah. Pakistani
Govt was asked to contact British Govt in order to locate where the dead body of
Sorehe Badshah was buried after his execution? In another resolution, homage
paid to renowned Baloch nationalist leader Nawab Akbar Bugti who was brutally
killed by Pakistani Govt. recently. Tribute also paid to Asghar Khan who as a
bomber pilot refused to obey orders of British rulers to make bombardment on a
groups of Hurrs (followers of Pir Pagaro) who were unarmed and comprising of
mostly women and children. Furthermore, they were in desert area where there was
nothing to take shelter.
