into something which will "take them and allow then to make something of themselves (ie trained killers for imperialism) and turn them into hate-filled, bitter, twisted thugs who victimise and terrorise people"
in other countries such as Iraq, Afgahnistan and in their own communities if they dare oppose brisish occupation in the 6 counties?
Listen lad theres no difference between being in the IRA or the british army or their array of murder gangs (psni-ruc UDA, UFF, MI1-5, SAS), if you think so then you are dreaming. The only difference is scale, the Brits have better weapons and can kill more in one go then the IRA or any other Republican army. Its farcial to suggest any moral difference based on the potential education offered in exchange for becoming a killer for British imperialism.
Wake up and dont be so naive.
Seamus.
Better that young people in these areas are recruited into something which will take them and allow then to make something of themselves as opposed to the alternative - recruited into the likes of the RIRA, INLA or IRSP who will only screw their lives up and turn them into hate-filled, bitter, twisted thugs who victimise and terrorise people in their own communities.
If they agree to support the PSNI then they should also support the Army.
nowadays it doesn't matter what sex you are to be either a nurse or a brain surgeon. You just have to have steady hands & study really hard. But at end it is a manual job, filled with gore and swabbing but you'll have respect...
don't be a brit soldier! study harder & be a brain surgeon.
They recruit in Dublin and so do the Yanks. And how is the Irish Army any better? Or Sinn Fein or any other shower? All the same - same game-different name. Boot boys!
Firstly, those are RAF recruitment items..... not Army.
Secondly, Why not. Northern ireland is part of the UK, why would the British armed forces recruit there? If people don't want to join, they can just say no. Are you also against free will?
Well they've been encouraged by Sinn Fein's support of that other bastion of British rule in Ireland The PSNI.
The crafty Brits... Will they stop at nothing? Whatever shall we do?
Hmmm... Hey, I've got it! If they ask us to join the army.... we WON'T!
Whew! Problem solved...
