How did they manage to skip the showband? famine ballad? big Ronnie Drew beards? But just think the noble Basque avoided all that. They went straight from inventing the bagpipes to beating musical sounds out of bulls to lead the world in punk-angst antisystem rock to this. The here and now. The cutting edge of an assuredly unforgetable night.
