Also due out soon archiving a part of this period, will be Harry Browne's book on the Pitstop Ploughshares nonviolent disarmament action at Shannon, subsequent trials and eventual acquital. "Hammered by the Irish" with an introduction by Fr. Daniel Berrigan SJ also has a perspective on Irish involvement in the ongoing U.S. war on Iraq, the rise and fall of the mass anti-war movement in Ireland and the duplicity of the Irish media. The book will be published in the U.S. by Counterpunch www.countepunch.org in the next couple of months.
