Irish Examiner sews animosity between private and public sector workers Today's Irish Examiner effectively sets out the FG stall. The IE is a firmly pro Fine Gael paper and though its editorial makes no mention of Fine Gael, it's a safe bet that it reflects current thinking at FG HQ. Yates makes some valid points about the way the partnership has usurped parliamentary democracy but he is woefully misguided in believeing that it is the unions and not IBEC who are really calling the tune.
As a die-hard FFer all my life I have to agree with you.
These characters are the heirs of Kevin O'Higgins and other traitors who shot Irish patriots, Eoin O'Duffy and his blueshirt brigade and Bruton taxed baby shoes.
