Jump To Comment: 1 2 3 4Interesting that the chorus of condemnation that broke out in these pages and in the bourgeois media over the killing of the British soldiers and policeman, much of which then started shouting about alleged undemocratic actions and alienation of unionists are silent now on this widescale harassment, intimidation and flagrant attack on people's demcratic rights. But of course, the victims are working class people from a nationalist community in the Six Counties so perhaps they don't really count. Or perhaps its simply that the aggressors are British colonial police and to criticise them might give 'the wrong message'?
By killing a PSNI officer and a pair of British soldiers and attempting to resurrect the Troubles you have shown contempt for the people of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland who voted overwhelmingly for the Good Friday Agreement of 1998 and since then have overwhelmingly endorsed the pro-agreement parties at the Stormont Assembly and in Dail Eireann.
Dissident republican groups do not hold a single democratic representative position at local of national level on this island.
You represent nobody and quite frankly you are in no position to whine about your democratic rights and the fact that you lot comically go to the British courts to demand your rights under British law shows you don't even practise what you preach.
If you are brave soldiers of Ireland and attack the forces of the Crown occupation forces then surely the so-called volunteers involved would claim proudly their responsibility for heroic acts such as shooting a police officer in the back of the head or riddling a group of soldiers and pizza deliverymen?
Are you ashamed to stand up for Mother Ireland or what?
What a joke!
Jim you obviously have not lived threw any harrasment and/or had your head buried in the sand.
If you knew your history you would realise that since 1169 Ireland has been under occupation by the Brithish. If you have not coped onto this then look at the map and you might notice the line called the border you thick
I would like to reply to the last poster,I have suffered harassement, intimiation and brutality at the hands of the british. But now is the time to leave all that behind the vast majority of Irish people do not what you.The people have spoken in numerous elections. You have no support you are not wanted and are as previously stated traitors
