Biden's team was still obliviously tweeting his resolve to fight on hours after he had decided to step down. So was the matter taken out of his hands? It has all the signs of an opportunistic palace coup, says Eugyppius.

...there is nothing here that suggests taking action. It looks like another meeting to boost the popularity of the PBPA/SWP.

Do you have a solid action plan to activly resist the cutbacks, or will the Socialist Worker Party reps just speak about building a stronger alliance, ie,, vote for us.

-REAL power to the people- you wrote "...there is nothing here that suggests taking action." What proof have you got for this very sweeping statement? Firstly do you live in either the Dublin North Central Dáil Constituency or the Artane/Whitehall Dublin City Council electoral ward? If you do I'm sure you're aware that Martin O'Sullivan the PBPA Representative for this area is a very well respected community activist who has been involved in many campaigns including trying to get justice for the families and relatives of the victims of the 1981 Stardust Tagedy. "It looks like another meeting to boost the popularity of the PBPA/SWP." Of course I'm sure the PBPA will promoting their organisation but they are very serious about launching the only campaign that will Stop The Cuts namely Massive People Power.

"Do you have a solid action plan to activly resist the cutbacks, or will the Socialist Worker Party reps just speak about building a stronger alliance, ie,, vote for us." Yes they do and if you come to the Meeting this Thursday -REAL power to the people- you will see that they do indeed "have a solid action plan to activly resist the cutbacks" and that they mean business. As I said above I'm sure the PBPA will be promoting their organisation but so too would Eirigi Sinn Féin the Socialist Party the Workers' Party the Workers Solidarity Movement etc etc if they were organising a Meeting to fight the cuts as I'm sure they are all doing and I applaud everybody for their efforts and when we all have all of the meetings in all of the communities the length and breadth of Ireland completed we will have a truely massive campaign that will defeat the cuts.
