Making the Case for a Woman's Right to Choose

Sinêad Ahern of Choice Ireland and Dr. Geraldine Moane of UCD made the case for a woman's right to choose at a recent debate in Dublin.

University College Dublin's Literary & Historical Society held its annual “Abortion Debate” on 7 Oct. 2009. Among the speakers included Doreen McCarthy of Marie Stopes Reproductive Choices, Senator Ronan Mullen and Paster John Samuel.

Among those making the case for the proposition that abortion be legalized in Ireland were Sinéad Ahern of Choice Ireland and Dr. Geraldine Moane, a senior lecturer in psychology at UCD. You can listen to Sinéad and Dr. Moane here. Each clip is around 7 minutes.
