CU 2010 takes place from August 7-14

Sessions at CU 2010 include:

* Moshe Machover on ‘Socialism and Democracy’
* ‘Regime change: what are the prospects for change from below in Iran, and why a colour revolution would be so dangerous’, with Yassamine Mather and John McDonnell MP
* ‘The crisis of capitalism’: three sessions with Hillel Ticktin
* Ben Lewis on ‘EDL, BNP and the left: what fascism is, what it is not and the tactical blunders of the left’

Sessions at CU 2010 include:

* ‘Lenin Rediscovered’: three sessions with Lars T Lih
* Camilla Power: ‘Primitive communism and the matriarchal family: are they Marxist myths?’
* ‘The rise and fall of Ancient Greek democracy’, presented by Chris Gray (New Interventions)
* a number of sessions on party & programme
* the communist press

* first weekend, incl. one night’s accommodation – £35 (£20);
* day – £10 (£5);
* session – £5 (£3);
* whole week, no accommodation: £60 (£30).
* Please note that you can also turn up on the day and pay for your ticket then (unless you want to stay over, in which case you need to let us know as soon as possible)
* Some comrades on low wages have taken up standing orders to pay for CU – let us know if you’d like to do that and we’ll send you the details
