Transport Minister Eamon Ryan has allocated €240m to walking and cycling projects, including to low-quality projects which are already designed, and new projects to be designed using old design standards. This is in stark contrast to the UK where cycling route design guidance was updated before the extra funding was announced and before it was allocated. Funding was linked to higher-standards. While the cycling infrastructure in the UK is far from perfect, the quality of projects in London and elsewhere has started to far surpass the quality of street changes built in Ireland. The higher standard infrastructure in the UK includes Dutch-style designs which the National Transport Authority has resisted implementing. read full story / add a comment

Hundreds of people opposing the Danish government’s response to the covid-19 pandemic marched through the capital, Copenhagen, in a fresh protest on Saturday. the protest was organized by the ‘men in black’ group, who are unhappy with Denmark’s partial lockdown and the looming rollout of a digital system which will track vaccinations and issue certificates confirming people’s inoculation status. The passports are to be used for international travel and potentially to give access to public venues in Denmark itself. Plans for a digital vaccine "passport" were a main target of their anger. Previously back in November there was public outcry an 9 days of protest against similar measures and the government appeared to back done, but this proves governments cannot be trusted. read full story / add a comment

The general problem of culture today is its ability to facilitate and support negative aspects of society through encouraging escapism, diversion and ignorance regarding many important issues of contemporary life, such as economic crises, repressive legislation, poverty, and climate chaos. Or worse still, the use of culture to promote elite views of society regarding power and money, as well as imperialist agendas through negative depictions of a targeted ethnic group or country. read full story / add a comment

In what is becoming almost a daily report of massive nursing home deaths following injections of experimental mRNA COVID shots, a nursing home in the U.K. is reporting over one third of their residents have died after receiving the mRNA experimental COVID injections. We are now seeing a very predictable pattern as we are reporting all over the world where the elderly are dying at a very alarming rate following mass vaccinations of the experimental mRNA injections. And in all of these cases, the local media is quoting local officials as saying that the “vaccines” have nothing to do with the deaths. James (he gives his last name in the video) is a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), and he recorded this video as a whistleblower because he could not keep silent any longer. James reports that in 2020 very few residents in the nursing home where he works got sick with COVID, and none of them died during the entire year of 2020. However, shortly after administering the Pfizer experimental mRNA injections, 14 died within two weeks, and he reports that many others are near death. The video is long (47 minutes), and it is clear that James is suffering from emotional stress, and he admits that he has nothing to gain from going public, and that he will probably lose his job for doing so. read full story / add a comment

COVID lockdown rulebreakers in Germany will be arrested and detained in refugee camps located across the country, it has been revealed. We first highlighted the story on Friday, citing reports that people who repeatedly flout the rules will be held in a ‘detention camp’ in Dresden. It is not often that people write important books and then make them freely available under Creative Commons Attribution + Noncommercial + NoDerivatives 4.0 license so it can be accessed and downloaded (without cost) in various forms but that is exactly the case here. The author Dr Mike Healy has written goes by the title "Marx and Digital Machines Alienation, Technology, Capitalism" and it explores digital technology and alienation. Some 10,000 people marched through the center of the Austrian capital Vienna on Saturday to protest against restrictions aimed at stopping the spread of Covid-19, and to demand the resignation of Chancellor Sebastian Kurz. Coronavirus skeptics took to the streets as Kurz and his government discussed the possibility of extending the ongoing third lockdown in Austria, which includes movement restrictions and the closure of all non-essential businesses. As predicted the experimental vaccines is causing unnecessary deaths. There are plenty of cheap and workable treatments, even preventive treatments such as Vitamin D, Zinc, Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin. After all the governments everywhere are so concerned about old people but they are quite happy to let them die by injecting them with experimental vaccines for which the companies producing them are exempt from all liabilities. The risks with this vaccine are so high, it is foolish for any healthy or young person to take it since there chance of dying from Covid is less than 0.1% and for older age groups only slightly higher. So why give it to elderly people whose immune systems are already deterioating as they reach old age especially when drugs like Hydroxychloroquine when given early make an excellent preventive. The media have never covered the fact that the study published in the medical journal The Lancet which gave Hydroxychloroquine the bad name, used fabricated data and had to be withdrawn and their findings were as fabricated as the data. The media and government still pretend this did not happen. So is it surprising now to hear of this latest news reported from Norway and is very likely repeating itself all over the world. The Norwegian Medicines Agency announced today that 23 people died after receiving the experimental Pfizer mRNA COVID injections. Norway’s health authorities have allegedly changed their recommendations for injecting the elderly, as all 23 deaths were among people older than 80 years old. “If you are very frail, you should probably not be vaccinated,” Steinar Madsen at the Norwegian Medicines Agency said at a webinar on corona vaccine for journalists on Thursday. read full story / add a comment |
