New Irish Software Helps Business With Software Licenses

Sanncus is being launched as part of the “The 12 Business Days of Christmas” running from 1st to 20th of December. The initiative, created by DCU Business School and LINK, the Leadership, Innovation and Knowledge Research Centre, is supported by AIB.

The software compliance company, Sanncus, specialises in ensuring organisations are compliant with manufacturers software licensing terms. Sanncus self-service software audit and compliance products help business simplify and streamline the management of their software licenses. This is especially useful in the event of a software manufacturer’s compliance audit. The resulting confidential reports enable companies to manage software as an asset, not just an expense. Sanncus is being launched as part of the “The 12 Business Days of Christmas” running from 1st to 20th of December. The initiative, created by DCU Business School and LINK, the Leadership, Innovation and Knowledge Research Centre, is supported by AIB. Helping kick-start brand awareness of the 12 new Internet companies, the initiative highlights a new company each day from a range of industries including: mobile application design, e-commerce, and web TV. John Kane, Founder of Sanncus, said “Directors of companies should ask themselves if all their software licenses are installed in a compliant manner. They need to be aware that any failure in compliance can mean significant fines and/or imprisonment. Sanncus helps businesses alleviate license issues and drive down the costs of software in the business.” Sanncus software and services offers companies peace of mind by producing compliance information in advance of annual audit. It is estimated that 35% of software installed in Irish businesses is non-compliant.
